It’ll be raining new sports card boxes as June winds to a close. Manufacturers are set to drop seven new products on one day alone, with others set to arrive prior to a lull leading up to Independence Day.
Here’s a look at what’s set to arrive at your local shop and online sellers.

2022 Panini Chronicles Football
The stream of last season’s football products is drying up but there are still a few trickling out. Chronicles, which blends together a variety of different Panini brand designs, returns for another year.
Chronicles Hobby boxes have 54 cards with a lot of variety. They’ll have six packs with eight cards per pack. A typical box will have two autographs, one memorabilia card, four numbered parallels, six opti-chrome inserts, six acetate inserts and two silver parallels.
Mega and Blaster boxes, with no autograph guarantee but some exclusive parallels, will also be live. You can check current pricing for all here.
2022-23 Panini Immaculate Soccer
The high-end Immaculate line returns to the pitch with boxes carrying a single seven card pack containing five autographs or memorabilia cards, two base cards, base parallels, inserts, or insert parallels per box, on average.
The autograph checklist includes Christian Pulisic, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé along with retired greats like Kaká, Andrea Pirlo and David Beckham.
All 20 Premier League teams will have cards in the product and there will also be cards from club and national teams including AS Roma, Olympique de Marseille and others.
Boxes are online for a shade under $1,300.
2022-23 Panini Select Basketball
Select brings its annual shiny game to the recently concluded NBA season. Boxes carry 12 packs with five cards per pack. There will be three autographs and/or memorabilia cards per box along with 12 prizms.
The base set will again have three tiers of scarcity.
Prizm possibilities include Silver, Scope, Tri-Color, Light-Blue (#’d/299), Blue Scope(#’d/249), Red (#’d/199), White (#’d/149), Neon Green (#’d/75), Copper Plaid (#’d/49), Tie-Dye (#’d/25) , Gold (#’d/10), Green (#’d/5) , Black (one of one), or Zebra.
Hobby boxes are running about $370 with smaller H2 boxes also available at a lower price.
2022-23 Upper Deck Synergy Hockey
Synergy boxes offer eight packs with three cards per pack. The focus here is mostly low serial numbered cards and inserts. Autographs aren’t guaranteed but they are possible.
Boxes do include 15 inserts, eight red parallels. Cast For Greatness cards are all metal with autographs in the mix.
Synergy is a cheaper product, with boxes currently sitting at $115-$120.

2022-23 Bowman University Best Basketball
Wembanyama mania cranks up again with the first post-draft product.
Hobby boxes of 2022-23 Bowman University Best Basketball will contain 12 packs in a two mini box format, with two autographs total. Cases will have eight boxes.
Each pack will hold four base cards and one base Refractor parallel.
Men’s and women’s players will both be featured in this one with Wembanyama and Caitlyn Clark both on the checklist.
Boxes are currently available for around $140 on eBay.
2022 Panini One Football
Simplicity, thy name is One.
The single card per box format that is 2022 Panini One Football is a renewal of the annual favorite of box breakers and those who love to roll the dice on a chance for a big, low numbered hit. Each card is autographed and encased in a sealed one-touch holder.
Simple it is, but it’s not cheap.

2023 Panini Chronicles Draft Picks Football
Cards of this year’s NFL draftees are featured here in their college uniforms.
Hobby boxes will have six packs with eight cards per pack. Of those 48 cards, three will carry autographs with a checklist that includes Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson and other picks.
Chronicles Draft Picks football is bringing back Plates & Patches Full Coverage Prime Patches, Look for oversized memorabilia of Team Logos, Conference Logos, and Brand Logos of the top rookies.
Boxes are online for around $180.
