A busy month of new sports card releases continues with some traditional lower cost favorites, but also some higher end products.
Here’s a look at what’s currently on the schedule:
5/4/22
2021 Panini National Treasures Football
Arriving three months after the LA Rams were crowned NFL champions, the sport’s popular, high-end brand arrives. Hobby boxes of 2021 National Treasures Football will contain three autographed cards, three memorabilia cards, one base or insert and one parallel or insert parallel but in its preliminary information, Panini indicated collectors might see a little more than that.
Rookie Patch Autographs are always the big draw. This year, there will also be Crossover RPAs, utilizing designs from previous year’s NT products across multiple sports. All RPAs are numbered to 99 with lower numbered parallels possible.
Hobby boxes are currently available on eBay starting at around $4,600.
2022 Bowman Baseball
Blaster boxes have already hit the market, but Wednesday is Hobby and Jumbo box day for 2022 Bowman, which is highlighted by Chrome Prospect and Rookie Autographs.
There are two configurations available again this year. Hobby boxes will have 24 packs of 10 cards with one autographed card while Jumbo boxes will contain 12 packs of 32 cards including three autographs. Prices for both are noticeably up.

Panini’s second NBA release in five days arrives with Crown Royale, famous for its die-cut cards.

Boxes look to be hitting between $425 and $500.

There’s a cheaper Hybrid option, but Hobby boxes check in at north of $1,000.
2021 Topps Dynasty Formula One
