Topps Heritage arrived just before the holiday weekend. Now, the second part of the company’s flagship trilogy joins high-end basketball and even a 2022 football issue among the new releases coming to market.
Here’s a look at some of what’s on the docket:

2022-23 Panini Impeccable Basketball
One of Panini’s higher end brands returns to the market just ahead of the NBA Finals.
Boxes of ’22-23 Impeccable will hold one pack of nine cards. Five of those will be on-card autographs. The rest of the content will include three base cards or base parallels and one silver or gold insert or Stainless Stars card.
The lowest online price right now is $1,450. There’s also a First Off the Line version with exclusive content and a higher price.
2022 Donruss Optic Football
Optic boxes offer a shiny take on the standard Donruss set. Hobby boxes hold 4 cards per pack with 20 packs per box.
Look for one autograph, 20 rated rookies, 10 parallels (8 #’d), and 4 inserts per box, on average.
Among the big draws are the rare Downtown parallels. New this year are Electricity and Jazz parallels within the Base and Rated Rookies sets.

2022-23 Bowman Chrome University Basketball
Unlike Bowman U Inception, this is a basketball only product that offers the chance at Victor Wembanyama autographs (along with some other soon to be NBA draftees.
Boxes hold 24 packs with four cards per pack. Two of those 96 cards will carry autographs. There will also be several inserts, a Chrome Shimmer parallel, four Refractor parallels and other content.
Hobby boxes are running in the neighborhood of $220 while blasters are also being produced.

2023 Topps Series 2 Baseball
Aaron Judge adorns the front of the ’23 Topps Series 2 boxes, which are going for a little over $100.
Series 2 adds 330 more cards to the base set.
A hobby box will feature 24 packs, with 14 cards to a pack. Every hobby box will also contain a bonus Silver Pack. Topps is promising either an autograph or relic card in each hobby box.
Jumbo boxes will have 10 packs, with 46 cards to a pack. Each jumbo will include one autograph card, one relic, a hobby exclusive manufactured item card, two silver packs and one box topper.

2022-23 Upper Deck Extended Series Hockey
Extended Series delivers the final 250 cards: 200 veterans, 30 Young Guns and 20 1st Round Rookies (2022-23 rookies that were first round selections). Each box contains 6 Young Guns/1st Round Rookies cards, on average.
Boxes carry 24 eight-card packs. Blaster boxes will be available, too, with some exclusive content.
