As the NBA playoffs tip off, there are plenty of new basketball card products in the queue. It’s a busy middle of the month and here’s a quick roundup of what to expect–as always, subject to change.

2022-23 Panini Prizm Basketball
Packing its usual array of shiny stuff, 2022-23 Prizm NBA offers a pair of autographs, 22 Prizm parallels and ten insert cards among its 144 cards in a 12-pack hobby box.
Among the most popular products of the year, Prizm will also have Choice (a single eight card pack) and Fast Break (ten packs of nine cards) branded options. The latter two will offer their own exclusive parallels.

2022 Panini Playbook Football
If you like cards that have more than just a front and a back, Playbook is for you.
Each box of the ’22 edition will contain two autographs and two memorabilia cards, with one of the hits being a booklet. Panini is promising on-card autographs. Rookies Playbook Jersey Autographs will feature hard-signed cards of first-year players with cards numbered to 299 or less.

2022 Topps Dynasty Baseball
Last year’s edition of Dynasty is a little late to the party but as a higher end product, it’s unlikely there will be a lot of complaining from those lucky enough to land some of the better hits.
Box breaks don’t take long. Boxes have one encased card–and that’s it. You get either an on-card autographed relic card numbered to 10 or less or a 1/1 cut signature card.

2022-23 Panini Revolution Basketball
You say you want a revolution? You can snare boxes of these for a relatively reasonable $150 or so but there’s no guarantee you’ll pull an autograph.
Boxes carry eight packs with five cards per pack.
A typical box will contain four rookies, four inserts, and eight parallels per box.
2021-22 Upper Deck SP Authentic Hockey
Each box of SP Authentic carries ten packs with nine cards per pack. A typical box will have one autographed Future Watch Rookies card plus one additional auto, ten SP Die-Cuts and a variety of other content.
Boxes can be had for around $290.

2022 Panini Clearly Donruss Football
Back for a second year, Clearly Donruss takes elements from the regular Donruss Football set issued earlier this year and puts them on acetate stock.
Look for one autograph, one insert, two parallels, 8 Rated Rookies (one per pack on average) and eight base cards that will populate the 20 cards in a box.
Boxes are online now in the neighborhood of $200.
2021-22 Panini Flawless Basketball (Update: Delayed until 5/26)
The long delayed release of Flawless is finally (it seems) upon us. The high-end brand that comes packed in a briefcase will again offer a single pack with nine autograph/memorabilia cards and one base card that’s numbered to 20 or less. All memorabilia cards in 2021-22 Flawless will be game-used.
