Multiple 2024 baseball releases, some postseason football and high end basketball are part of the schedule as March turns into April. Here’s a look at the new sports card products coming to your favorite hobby shop, online retailer or breaker.

2023 Bowman Inception Baseball
A holdover from last year’s release calendar, ’23 Bowman Inception is focused on colorful cards and youthful players, with a 100-card base set full of prospects.
Boxes carry a single seven-card pack with two autographs and one parallel along with four base cards. Some of the autographs are short printed.
Boxes are being sold online for $175-$200.

2024 Topps Dynasty Baseball
The single card boxes of Dynasty will contain either an on-card autograph relic card numbered to 10 or less or a 1/1 cut signature card. All relics are game-used and include jersey patches, special event baseballs, and batting gloves.
World Baseball Classic themed cards are part of this year’s product…and so is Victor Wembanyama.
Look for boxes at around $1,300.
2023 Panini Zenith Football
Zenith offers a single six-card pack with a typical box holding one patch auto, one additional auto, one base card, one rookie card and two inserts.
The rookie patch autographs will offer between one and five pieces of memorabilia numbered from 299 to 1.
2023 Zenith Football also includes a special Contenders Optic Rookie and Veteran Ticket Preview insert cards only found in the hobby boxes. Z-Team inserts are among the returning subsets.
Boxes are selling for $315-$325 online. A First Off The Line version with exclusive content is available at a higher price.

2023 Panini Elite Extra Edition Baseball
A long running product that doesn’t carry league licensing but does carry a ton of autographs, EEE boxes offer five packs with five cards in each. Among the 25 total cards are eight autographs and two memorabilia cards, on average.
Players from the 2023 MLB Draft, including Dylan Crews, Paul Skenes, Jacob Wilson and Chase Dollander will have autographs in the product as well as players from the Dominican Prospect League.
Boxes are running $115-$135 on eBay.
2024 Topps Big League Baseball
The season’s lowest cost product is back. Kid-friendly Big League offers eighteen packs of eight cards in each Hobby box. Inside you’ll find six base cards, one Uncommon Rainbow Foilboard base card and one insert.
It’s a 310-card “base” set but completing it won’t be easy. The first 200 cards will be easy to find; the other 110 not so much. The breakdown of those is like this:
Base Set Uncommon Foil – CD#201-250 – 1 Per Pack
Base Set Rare Blue Foil – CD# 251-275 – 1:18 Packs – 1 Per Box
Base Set Super Rare Red Foil – CD#276-300 – 1:90 Packs
Base Set Legendary Gold Foil – CD#301-310 – 1:360 Packs
Autographs exist but they won’t be common.
Boxes are plentiful at $57-$65 online.
2024 Topps Tribute Baseball
Boxes of 2024 Topps Tribute will contain six packs, with three cards to a pack. On average, it’ll yield three autographs and three relics, along with a base card parallel among the 18 total cards.
Collecting the base set of this higher end product will be a challenge. It’s a 100-card group, with veteran stars and legends filling up the first 80 slots. The remaining 20 cards will feature rookies that will fall only 1 in every three boxes.
One unique autograph element are Calling the Shot Dual Autographs, with autographs on the front and back of the card. Each captures a big moment and includes the transcript by the announcer who called the play. The front of the card will have the player’s signature, while the back will have the autograph of the announcer.

2023 Panini Obsidian Football
The shiny black look of Obsidian is pretty easy to spot and the one tied to the 2023 NFL season arrives a month and a half after the end of the ’23 season. Boxes will hold a single, seven-card pack with two autographs, two memorabilia cards, one insert or insert parallel and two base or base card parallel.
