The baseball season may be long over and a boatload of free agents are about to hit the market but it’s still 2020 and there are still new baseball card products arriving. A few new entries arrive in the first half of December, along with some football and hockey.

2019-20 Upper Deck Chronology Hockey, Volume 2
This is the second half of the Chronology series, a product Upper Deck calls its “most comprehensive living set.” About 200 different autograph subjects are on the checklist, some of whom haven’t had fully-licensed autograph cards in several years.
Look for Diamond and Autographed Diamond Relic cards. Each card in the 100-subject Diamond Relic parallel of the base set is fitted with a .14 carat, 35mm diamond and printed on 140-pt. stock.
Chronology, Vol. 2 also has XRC Rookie and XRC Rookie Auto Redemption cards for the top 2020 draftees.
Each one pack box will have four cards with one autograph card, two additional autos or memorabilia cards and one additional card.
Look for pricing info to come more into focus once the product is released in the coming days. More info is here: 2019-20 Upper-Deck Chronology Volume-2

2020 Bowman Draft
An annual late-season favorite, Bowman Draft will again come in a couple of different configurations:
- Hobby boxes with 12 packs of 32 cards including 23 base, seven Chrome base, two Chrome base refractor parallels and three autographs. A case will have eight boxes.
- Super Jumbo boxes with 5 packs per box, each holding 120 cards including 78 base, 33 Chrome base, eight Chrome base refractor parallels and five autographs. Cases will have six boxes.
2020-21 Upper Deck Black Diamond Hockey
While Chronology carries the ’19-20 label, Black Diamond pivots into the upcoming season. Each one pack box will have six cards. Autographs will be found at a rate of eight autographs per ten-box case.
Black Diamond is billed as “the first high-end product of the 2020-21 hockey season and is the first product of the year to feature an extensive selection of premium autograph and memorabilia cards for the 2020-21 rookie class.”

2020 Topps Stadium Club Chrome
The third release planned for December 9 is the shiny version of Topps’ photography-oriented brand.
Each box of Stadium Club Chrome will have 14 packs with six cards per pack. Cases will hold 16 boxes.
Boxes should have one autograph and 14 insert cards among the contents, but with a large base set, that’s mostly what you’ll be pulling. If you’re not that much into hits, this one has the potential to offer some of the sharpest looking baseball cards of the year.
Boxes are being offered online at a little over $200.
