If you’ve got some holiday down time or someone to buy a gift for soon, there will be some fresh sports card boxes ripe for the picking as November heads down the home stretch.
In fact, the day before Thanksgiving is packed with releases. Let’s get to what’s in the pipeline in the latest edition of the sports card release calendar. All, as usual, is subject to late changes.

2023-24 Panini Hoops Basketball
Sports card makers usually drop some products just ahead of Thanksgiving and Black Friday and this year is no exception. Several new releases are set to arrive including the much anticipated Hoops…and yes, there are Victor Wembanyama rookie cards in those boxes. Wemby is featured on two base cards, a memorabilia card or two and a bunch of inserts (see full checklist below). No autographs, though. He’s under an exclusive with Fanatics.
Some of those single rookie cards have already started to pop up on eBay.
Boxes have 24 packs of eight cards. There’s one autograph per box. They’re bringing about $225 and there are blaster boxes and fat packs available, too. You can check current eBay pricing here.
2023-24 Hoops Basketball Checklist
2023 Topps Museum Baseball
The configuration stays the same for 2023 Topps Museum. Boxes will have four packs (mini boxes). There will be 20 cards per Master box. Each box will have an on-card autograph, an autographed relic card, a quad relic card and a standard relic card.
Each case will have one Framed Autograph, one Jumbo Relic and one Authenticated Autographed Relic.
Boxes are available for just under $400 online.
2023 Panini National Treasures Collegiate Football
You’ll find a mix of current rookies and NFL veterans in their college uniforms inside NT Collegiate. It’s a high-end release with eight cards per one-pack box. Of the eight cards, seven will carry autographs and/or memorabilia.
Fanatics swooped in and snared CJ Stroud and Bryce Young so the top two picks in the ’23 draft won’t have autographs in the product.
Boxes are online for $600-$700.

2022-23 Upper Deck SP Game Used Hockey
Yes, this one is a ’22-23 release rather than a ’23-24. SP Game Used offers a single, six-card pack per box with one autograph or ‘Premium Memorabilia’ card, three additional memorabilia and/or tech cards and two base or insert cards.
Look for cards featuring banners (including auto & auto jersey versions), net cord and/or puck material from the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Heritage Classic, Stadium Series, and the All-Star Game. This set also features game-used jersey swatches, patches and tags.
Boxes are available for around $180.
Also releasing on 11/29: 2022-23 Upper Deck OPC Platinum Hockey, 2023 Panini Chronicles Racing; 2023 Topps MLS.

2023 Donruss Football
The long running flagship brand makes its return as the NFL heads into its final full month.
Hobby boxes contain 18 packs with ten cards per pack. A typical box will have one autograph, one memorabilia card, 18 Rated Rookies, 12 parallels, 42 inserts and one base rookie or no name parallel and five base/rookie aqueous test parallels.
Blaster boxes are coming, too, with Donruss Threads and Rookie Phenom Jerseys Memorabilia cards that are only found in the lower cost product. You can check current pricing for both here.
Again, CJ Stroud autographs won’t be found in Panini boxes this year, but other rookies will be.
