It’s a busy stretch for new sports card products, with baseball, football, basketball and soccer releases set to arrive.

2022 Topps Archives Baseball
The long running Archives series continues with the ’22 edition. Hobby boxes have 24 packs, with eight cards to a pack and two autographs per hobby box.
The base set will contain 300 cards with designs that recall the 1963, 1978 and 1987 Topps sets. Inserts will throw back to a few Topps issues from the past, including the 1961 MVP cards.

2022 Bowman Sterling Baseball
Originally scheduled to be released two months ago, 2022 Bowman Sterling finally arrives in the midst of baseball’s postseason, but the focus is primarily on prospects.
Each Hobby box has five packs, with five base cards and a chrome autograph card in each one.
There will be ten different parallels for the base set and the primary autograph set.
Sterling Signage Autographs use a theater marquee as a theme, with the players’ names spelled out in capital letters.
Boxes are online for around $300.
Also releasing on 10/19 are Panini Black Football boxes.
2022 Panini National Treasures FIFA Road to the World Cup
The World Cup gets the NT treatment with each card in the collection numbered to 99 or less.
Each box will have a single pack with ten cards inside: eight autograph or memorabilia cards, one base card/base parallel, and one additional card per box, on average.
There’s a 200-card base set covering the teams and players set to compete in Qatar later this fall.
Major hits include rare triple booklets and multi-autograph cards, and 1/1s like Brand Logo Autographs.
One box per case will have an 11th card: a printing plate.
Prices on StockX have dropped to a little under $2,800.

2022 Panini Certified Football
A familiar brand, Certified is back, with Hobby boxes offering ten packs of five cards.
A typical box will have one Freshman Fabric Mirror Signatures or Piece of the Game Signature plus one additional autograph and two memorabilia cards among the 50 cards per box.
Boxes are currently running in the $200-$230 range.

2022 Topps Luminaries Baseball
Luminaries was supposed to be released earlier this season, but it is now ready to arrive with each box offering one encased autograph or autographed relic card, with all cards numbered to 15 or less. There are once again three themes: Hit Kings, Home Run Kings and Mound Masters.
Luminaries’ biggest hits are the 1/1 foldout, multi-section booklet cards. One of the big hits is called “The Greatest,” which will include autographs from 30 all-time greats.
Boxes are currently trading for around $500.
2021-22 Panini Spectra Basketball
Yes, this is a straggler from last season. Spectra offers a healthy dose of autographs in each box. Each box will have four packs with four cards per pack. Among the 16 cards are four autographs and four parallels.
Collectors can chase a variety of SSP Inserts in the popular Color Blast set, along with brand new Solar Eclipse and Diamond Anniversary inserts.
Pricing on Spectra are currently under $800 per box on StockX.
