The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Panini America are hosting an autograph session during Induction Weekend, but it won’t be cheap to score a signature from all seven.
Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice are the two headliners–and likely the reason prices are so high this year. A ticket to get those two, plus Dick LeBeau, Rickey Jackson, Russ Grimm, Floyd Little and John Randle on Sunday, August 8 will run $500 by mail order–plus shipping and handling.
Smith is by far the most expensive ticket. The former Cowboys’ star will appear with Rice at a special signing session immediately after the group session. The base autograph charge for Smith is $229, with inscriptions an additional $189. Rice autographs run from $149 to $179 with $99 for a special note.
On Saturday, several players will appear, including Bob Griese ($59), Steve Young ($125) and Dick Butkus ($79).
Mounted Memories is selling tickets through their website. They go on sale Monday, June 7.
