A Massachusetts autograph dealer is hoping to turn some exclusive artwork into a fundraiser for a charity that helps people with disabilities.
JG Autographs partnered with artist Jace McTier for the project. McTier, an accomplished sports artist whose work might remind you a little of LeRoy Neiman, created an original 24″x36” acrylic painting of New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady entitled “The Release”. A dozen fine art prints were also created using a special paper.
Late last month, JG Autographs got Brady’s autograph on the original painting and each of the prints. They’re now being offered for sale with the original work at $30,000 and the prints at $2,995. Both are available on the JG Autographs website. $5,000 from the painting and $500 from each print purchase will be donated to Best Buddies International, a charity supported by Brady.
Best Buddies is a global volunteer organization that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
