Show ‘n Tell for Chicago Auction

Hunt Auctions has set up shop in Chicago, where the company is hosting an appraisal fair and sports memorabilia auction this week.

The National Italian-American Sports Hall of Fame is playing host to the event, which shifts to live mode on Thursday.

Bidding is already underway online.

David Hunt set his alarm early and made an appearance on the ABC 7 morning show Tuesday, bringing along a few of the decades-old World Series press pins that are among the featured items.

The appraisal fairs that the company conducts in conjunction with its major events are always a hit with the locals and as Hunt told the interviewer, sometimes it can pay off big time–for the auction house and the consignor.
