Hunt Auctions and NFL Auction are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their partnership at Super Bowl LIV. The 12 th Annual Super Bowl Live Auction event is set for Saturday, but bidding is underway and items are on display at the NFL Experience fan event at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The auction has over 600 items including the original 1941 Heisman Trophy awarded to Minnesota’s Bruce Smith, the personal collections from three Pro Football Hall of Fame members and dozens of current era game-worn jerseys and memorabilia corralled by NFL Auction.
Bidding for the Smith Heisman—one of only a few ever to come to auction—currently stands at $83,188 but is expected to go much higher by the close of bidding on Saturday.
Hunt Auctions President David Hunt has been showing off some of the items in the auction this week while in Miami. He chatted with Fansided’s Mark Carman at the Super Bowl Media Center and showed off a few of the items.
Hall of Famer Raymond Berry’s 1958 NFL Championship ring is also drawing a lot of attention with bidding currently at $27,225. A Bart Starr game jersey has passed $36,000 while a Dan Marino game-used Dolphins helmet from late in his career was closing in on $13,000.
