Folks in Joe Jackson’s old stomping grounds have turned his old house into a museum.
Greenville, South Carolina is getting a new tourist attraction.
Like the man himself, the Shoeless Joe Jackson Baseball Museum and Library will be a humble place. It’s housed in the same small home where he spent the final ten years of his life and sits just outside a Class A minor league ballpark in Greenville, South Carolina, where Jackson grew up and eventually died.
They’re a little short on memorabilia, but the New York Times reports there is plenty of Jackson lore in and around the city …even a young blood relative who is now conjuring up images of the baseball icon.
