SCP Auctions will sell numerous items from the estate of Hall of Famer George Sisler at its April catalog auction. A 1920s game used bat and several pieces of commemorative jewelry from his accomplishments are among the lots that will be available for the first time.
Sisler hit .340 for his career, which lasted from 1915-1930, and was considered among the best defensive first baseman of the pre-World War II era. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1939.
