The Buffalo Sabres are giving fans a chance to bid on their game-worn jerseys from last season’s Stanley Cup playoffs.
The Buffalo Sabres will be auctioning autographed game-worn jerseys from the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The online auction will consist of 23 game-worn and autographed Sabres home jerseys in the old black and red colors, each one worn by a Sabres player during last year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs when the team advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals.
The auction will begin on Wednesday, October 4 at 6 p.m., concluding Monday, October 9 at 8 p.m. Fans can access the auction by logging on to www.sabres.com, or through the auction section on www.nhl.com.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, a non-profit foundation that is committed to enhancing the quality of life of everyone throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario. In the process, the foundation strives to assist worthwhile organizations that make this region a better place to live and work. The primary focus of the foundation is to assist youth hockey initiatives, non-profit organizations and groups that provide vital services to those in need.
