University of Colorado star Travis Hunter’s new NIL deal with personal finance website NerdWallet includes a relic card—but it’s not part of a uniform—and the only way to get it is to win a contest.
The company signed Hunter to an NIL deal that forced him to put some of the money away for safe keeping. They then clipped a small piece of the contract and put it in a card that’ll be given away to one of his Instagram followers after he posts about the deal on Friday.
As part of the deal, Hunter had to go through a self-evaluation of his finances and complete a “smart money action.”
Hunter plays both offense and defense for the Buffaloes and is expected to be among the top picks in the 2025 NFL draft as either a cornerback or receiver.
