The case of Peter Pocklington, the former owner of the Edmonton Oilers hit a snag Tuesday when a bankruptcy judge in California delayed ruling on whether Pocklington should surrender a list of financial assets.
Part of Pocklington’s possessions could include one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia he collected while owning the NHL franchise during the Wayne Gretzky era, including some Stanley Cup rings.
He’s been indicted on two counts of bankruptcy fraud for allegedly hiding assets.
