It’s been an active year for Robert Edward Auctions. The company has sold nearly 17,000 items across its first five auctions of the year with total sales exceeding $19.4 million. Their newest auction should push sales well past $20 million.
More than 3,700 items ranging from an 1888 Allen & Ginter boxing card collection that includes Jack Dempsey and John Sullivan to a 2020 Topps Chrome Mike Trout Refractor SGC 10 are part of REA’s June Encore catalog.
The new auction features more than 830 T206 cards and dozens of Goudeys including all four Babe Ruth cards in lower grades.
Boxing cards representing exceptional type cards from the 19th century through 1950s staples, signed Exhibits and other cards, are also presented in more than 100 lots.
“We have a great selection of items in our June Auction, ranging from some of the hobby’s longtime staples, such as Cracker Jack and T206 cards, to some incredibly unique boxing and non-sport items for collectors to choose from,” remarked REA President Brian Dwyer.

- 1984 Topps Football Rookies in PSA MINT 9– One of the top draft classes in NFL history, it included Hall of Famers Dan Marino (Lot 3394), Eric Dickerson (Lot 3395), Howie Long (Lot 3392) and John Elway (Lot 3397)
- All Four 1933 R319 Goudey Babe Ruths in Collector Grades – The #53 SGC FAIR 1.5 (Lot 20), #144 SGC POOR 1 (Lot 23), #149 SGC FAIR 1.5 (Lot 24) and #181 SGC POOR 1 (Lot 25)
- 1948 Swell Bubble Gum Sport Thrills #3 Jackie Robinson PSA VG 3 (Lots 29 and 30)
- 1954 Topps #1 Ted Williams graded PSA NM 7 and#128 Hank Aaron Rookie SGC VG 3 (Lot 35)
- 1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel Honus Wagner PSA GOOD 2 – (Lot 94)

All items in REA’s June Encore Auction have a starting bid of $10.
The company will have two more Encore auctions this year (September and October) and two more major catalog auctions (Summer and Fall).
