Heritage Auctions will offer the 1998 Heisman Trophy Award won by Ricky Williams in its October Premium catalog.
Williams broke Tony Dorsett’s 22-year-old NCAA career rushing record that season and joined Earl Campbell as the second Texas player to win the Heisman.
Mike Provenzale of Heritage Auctions gave us a look at the 45-pound trophy Williams earned after rushing for over 2,300 yards as a member of the Texas Longhorns in ’98.
In December, Tim Brown’s 1988 Heisman sold for over $435,000 at auction.
