Jerry Rice and other former NFL players will sign autographs at an east coast event next month with proceeds to help a special charity.
Resorts Atlantic City is hosting an autograph event and private reception next month with Jerry Rice and members of the 1972 Miami Dolphins on hand to sign memorabilia.
BCS Sports Collectibles is also promoting the event, which takes place a week before the Super Bowl.
Getting into the place is free, but you’ll have to pay for the autographs. The good news is that it might be at least partially tax deductible. Some of the proceeds from the event, which also includes a meet and greet with the athletes, will go to Mike Ditka’s Gridiron Greats assistance fund, a charity that helps retired players who are down on their luck or facing large medical bills.
The Press of Atlantic City spills the beans (just ignore the part about the potentially undefeated Indianapolis Colts).
