Seven hundred T206 cards, a 1911 Sporting Life Honus Wagner Cabinet card and nearly 3,400 other items are on the block through Robert Edward Auctions this month.
REA’s March Encore Auction runs the gamut–from 1888 N28 Allen & Ginter cards of Hall of Famers John Clarkson and John Montgomery Ward to modern football cards, including a 2000 Bowman Chrome Tom Brady Rookie BGS GEM MINT 9.5.
In addition to the M110 Wagner, there is also a 1910-11 M116 Sporting Life Wagner (pastel background graded SGC 6.
Babe Ruth cards have a prominent role in the online catalog, too, including a 1921 Schapira Bros. Candy ‘Waiting For a High One’ partial box and three rare strip cards of Ruth including a 1920 W519-1 #5, 1921 W516-2-1 #10 and a 1922 W522 #48. Other Ruth cards available are a 1935 R332 Schutter-Johnson Candy and a 1933 V353 World Wide Gum Canadian Goudey graded PSA 6.
Collectors of vintage unopened material will have dozens of lots to consider, including 1970s and 80s packs, boxes and cases from all sports.

Among the T206 cards are seven Carolina Brights and a Ty Cobb Bat Off Shoulder PSA EX 5 with a Tolstoi Back. There is also a rare example of the Cy Young Bare Hand Shows version featuring the name on the top and bottom.
“This auction is loaded with the hobby’s most iconic names but what’s exciting is there are some very unique items that feature those icons on items collectors typically don’t see up for bid. It’s a great opportunity to add some rare pieces to your collection,” said Brian Dwyer, President of REA.
All items have a starting bid of $10. The event will run through Sunday, March 24 with all initial bids due by 9 PM ET.
