The Cardinals’ annual Winter Warm-Up is this weekend, with dozens of autograph guests, but don’t count on slipping into the Albert Pujols line.
The $175 autograph tickets for National League MVP Albert Pujols are all spoken for. The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that the team’s Winter Warm-Up autograph session tickets for Pujols, newly re-signed Matt Holliday ($100) and Yadier Molina ($75) are sold out.
Player autograph sessions are one of the most popular attractions of the Warm-Up. While some players’ autographs are free with the admission pass, others require an autograph ticket available through a specific additional donation. Every dollar donated for autograph tickets and all proceeds from the Winter Warm-Up benefit Cardinals Care, the team’s community foundation that cares for kids.
This year’s event takes place at the Hyatt St. Louis at the Arch from Saturday through Monday, January 18th.
Holliday, who yesterday signed a seven year deal with the Cardinals, will attend his first Winter Warm-Up and will sign autographs on Sunday, January 17th starting at 1:00 P.M. Pujols will sign autographs on Monday from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.
"We are very excited to have Albert, Matt and all of our other fan favorites sign autographs and attend the Winter Warm-Up," said Michael Hall, St. Louis Cardinals Vice President of Cardinals Care and Community Relations.
Over 60 current and former players and coaches are scheduled to sign autographs during the event, considered one of the big leagues’ most popular off-season fan gatherings. More information can be found here.
