PSA plans to give away a trio of 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan #57 rookie cards with a combined valued of more than $10,000 during the 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention.
The giveaway is part of several promotions being planned by the company for the July 31-August 4 event at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
The three different Jordan cards—graded 8, 8.5 and 9—will be awarded at random from entries received at PSA’s booth (#1436) or online at www.PSAcard.com/National Thursday through Saturday (August 1-3). Winners need not be present and will be announced at 4 PM at the PSA booth during each of the three designated days.
Collectors who sign up for the Platinum version of PSA’s Collector’s Club—or have since July 1—can pick up a set of five “2019 NSCC Promo” cards that features baseball legends Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, Christy Mathewson, Nap Lajoie and Joe Jackson. New PSA Gold Collectors Club members who attend the show and provide proof of purchase will be randomly awarded one of the five promo cards.
The company says it will once again offer on-site authentication, grading and encapsulation for all items except for tickets and packs. An “Express Line” will be available for those who utilize the online submission center to place orders prior to visiting the booth. PSA will offer $10 authentication for items signed by the show’s autograph guests. The company has additional details on special pricing at The National on its website. They’ll also be accepting submissions of trading cards and autographs at all service levels.
