PSA has launched what it calls “a quicker, search-based” version of its Population Report.
Instead of a multi-layered, drill down search that navigates through multiple web pages, including pages for category, year, set, player and card number, users can now simply type in the set year, name and subject (“1960 Topps Carl Yastrzemski”) from a search box. Collectors will immediately be brought to a real-time Population Report that lists exactly how many singles of a particular card, ticket or pack have been submitted to PSA, along with their individual grades.
“The faster search capability should speed things up considerably for PSA collectors. Plus, it works much better on mobile devices than the previous design,” said Steve Sloan, company vice president.

Though the new interface is now live, collectors may still use the classic drill-down-by-year option through the category tiles on the Population Report home page. There’s no charge to use the information.
