Still deluged by submissions, PSA is changing its pricing structure for several service levels beginning January 1.
While collectors and dealers who submit orders of 50 or more cards for grading and encapsulation and those who use the company’s regular 15-day service won’t see any changes, those who want faster turnaround times will notice some significant price hikes.
They’ve also added a new “Premium Elite” service for cards valued at $100,000 or higher. The one-day turnaround price will be $5,000.
The chart below outlines some of the most notable changes.
“Improving PSA’s submission turnaround times remains a top priority for our company,” PSA President Steve Sloan stated in an email to customers. “We have expanded our capacity by nearly 30%, year-over-year. Still, it has not been enough. Rest assured, PSA will continue to take the necessary steps to meet demand.”
