A PSA 10 1968 Topps Mickey Mantle card finds a new home via eBay at over $10,000.
They can be deceiving when it comes to condition, but there are some high grade ’68 Topps out there.
Mickey Mantle’s next-to-last card has generated seven PSA 10s but the supply is still nowhere near the demand. One sold Sunday via eBay for $10,155. 19 bids were entered in what was the highest priced vintage card sold via the on-line auction site in several days.
Chicago area-based Baseball Card Exchange was the seller. The buyer is an avid vintage PSA collector.
A PSA 9 Mantle recently sold via eBay on a “best offer” auction for $1490, nearly $9000 less than the 10.
