The Shikellamy (PA) High School band will have a little more money in its budget again this year thanks to sports card collectors and dealers who turned out for the latest edition of a long-running card and memorabilia show.
Held in January, the show sometimes has to contend with weather issues in east central Pennyslvania, but this year that wasn’t a problem.
Prices for admission, concessions and dealer tables are kept low but at the end of the day, all proceeds are handed over to the music department, which is often faced with some major expenses that aren’t in the school budget.
Show organizer Sam Smith provided art work for the show’s autograph guest.
