Upper Deck is planning an 18-card Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup Champion set.
Set for release later this month, the set will include Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Phil Kessel, Kris Letang, Nick Bonino and rookie goalie Matt Murray, among others.
Upper Deck plans a print run of 5,000 sets. You’ll have to buy something else to get one, however. The sets will be given away as gifts with a purchase of over $35 through the Upper Deck online store. Hobby shops in the Pittsburgh area will also receive sets to use as a gift with purchase for 2015-16 Upper Deck trading cards.
Sets will also be available as giveaways for those who buy current year hockey cards through the company’s network of Authorized Internet Retailers.
Upper Deck Authorized Group Breakers will receive some sets as well.
