You might remember our Q&A with Jeremy Brown, the owner of Las Vegas-based Ultimate Sports Cards & Memorabilia last September. He was the new category expert called in by the producers of the hit show Pawn Stars. Since then, he’s made several appearances on the History Channel show and his business has picked up thanks to the exposure.
Not bad considering his shop is seven miles from the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, where the show is taped.
It won’t be long, though, until his store becomes a bona fide tourist attraction, along with the Toy Shack run by Pawn Stars regular Johnny Jimenez, American Restoration and a couple of other recognizable businesses. Brown is moving his shop to a new location, closer to the pawn shop and it’ll be part of a bus tour taking tourists–many with money to spend–to those locations as part of a Vegas mini tour.
Things couldn’t have worked out any better for Brown, who talked about his good fortune–and future plans–with the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
