Panini America will debut a special 10-card 2015 All-Star Game exclusive set Tuesday when NBA House opens its doors ahead of Sunday’s contest at Madison Square Garden.
NBA House, an interactive fan fest, will be located in Skylight at Moynihan Station in Manhattan (Feb. 10-16) and at LIU Brooklyn Paramount Theatre (Feb. 11-15).
Collectors who make any purchase of Panini America NBA products at the NBA Shop there will receive the special 10-card set for free by bringing their receipt to the Panini America booth. In addition, fans and collectors who spend at least $20 on Panini America NBA products at the NBA Shop inside NBA House will receive the 10-card set and their choice of one of six commemorative NBA All-Star 2015 manufactured-patch cards.
The cards primarily feature photos of players at last year’s All-Star Game with rookies featured in their team uniform.
Panini and Modell’s Sporting Goods stores also plan in-store player signings with NBA stars Victor Oladipo, Michael Carter-Williams, Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine, Trey Burke and Mason Plumlee during the week.
Panini is also producing a 25-card Super Bowl XLIX set that will be available at mass retail outlets, select hobby shops and online at iCollectPanini.com in the coming days. The cards will begin shipping to retail outlets and to Panini America HQ later this week.
You can pre-order the set at iCollectPanini.com.
The set features photography taken during Super Bowl XLIX and includes 18 player cards.
The set will include Malcolm Butler’s first Patriots card and also has Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Darrelle Revis and others. Seven cards will commemorate the game’s biggest moments, headlined by Butler’s game-saving interception.
