Panini America’s third NFL trading card product will be 2013 Panini Elite Football.
The company is promising an “updated look” to the brand that has been a part of its stable since the company as known as Donruss.
Each box will carry 20 five-card packs and include four autograph or memorabilia cards (two autos guaranteed), three rookie cards, a Turn of the Century insert, one Passing the Torch Silver, one Zoning Commission Silver, one Primary Colors Silver, a Rookie Hard Hats and three other insert cards.
One of its autograph/memorabilia concepts will involve a two-card ‘puzzle’ called Prime Numbers—which feature a memorabilia relic card that forms a two piece tribute when laid side-by-side with a separate autographed card.
Among the new features are First & Goal inserts and laser-cut Panini Portraits.
Passing the Torch Autographs and Rookie Inscriptions return this year.
