Panini National Treasures Will Be $400 Per Pack

Panini America has released some preliminary information on its 2009-10 National Treasures Basketball cards.

They won’t be cheap.

Much like the National Treasures football product, the set is built around autographs of players past and present. Six autograph or memorabilia cards will be part of the eight-card packs that will carry a suggested retail price of $400 per pack.

There will be four boxes per case. National Treasures packs will also have one base card numbered to 99 and one Legend, Rookie or parallel/insert card per eight-card pack.

Logo man patch and signature cards and Laundry Tag autographs are also included.

Among the autographs that are part of the issue: George Mikan, Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans and others.

Boxes are set to release August 4.
