Panini America and Leaf have released information and preview images for special card sets that will be available at this year’s National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland.
Panini will once again offer a wrapper redemption program, with details to be announced. There will be rookie cards numbered to 499 and ten additional memorabilia rookie cards numbered to 99, giving the base set a total of 60 cards.
Panini will mix stars with rookies, drawing on its NFL and NBA licenses along with its MLBPA license for baseball cards.
There will also be a VIP set from Panini that will be distributed through a coupon inserted into each of the VIP bags that must be presented at 
the Panini America booth.
Featured in the set are NFL Rookie Cards of Johnny Manziel and Blake Bortles, NBA Rookie Cards of Dante Exum and Andrew Wiggins, and MLBPA Rookie Cards of Masahiro Tanaka and Jose Abreu.
Leaf will give VIP pass buyers a four-card set featuring Manziel, Jadaveon Clowney, Damian Lillard and Victor Oladipo. An additional six cards in the same format will be available during the show at the Leaf Corporate Booth #569.
In addition to the card set, Leaf will have a redemption program which awards customers with gift cards which can be used for items in Leafs 5000 square foot corporate booth space at the National.
