A Massachusetts collector has decided to create his own navigation system for surfing the web.
Andrew Horowitz had built up a pretty good sized list of "favorites" while surfing the internet. He visited several different card-related sites along with eBay and Google on a regular basis but wading through them all made him think there had to be an easier way. Thus was born the Sports Card Toolbar.
"The main goal is to have quick and easy access to all things related to sports cards," Horowitz said. He’s developed the toolbar to do just that with drop-down menus for ‘Searches’, ‘Trading Sites’, ‘Card Companies’, ‘Grading Companies’ and ‘Paypal’. Inside each category on the toolbar are quick links to selected sites.
As of now, the Massachusetts collector is giving his invention away to anyone who feels it might be beneficial in their own web searching. There is no spyware or tracking cookie attached.
He’s always looking for ways to improve the toolbar and asks for feedback from users. "Everyone seems to be happy," he said. "I’ve had responses like ‘this is awesome’. I just wanted to create something to easily navigate the internet. Now that I did I just thought it would be nice to share it."
