Buddy Kurzweil has been selling sports cards and memorabilia out of brick and mortar stores for 33 years, adapting to what’s hot and what’s not.
It started as just a little baseball card shop long before the hobby went mainstream. Long before he was Mr. Mint, Alan Rosen was a customer.
Quite a bit has changed for Buddy’s Sports Mart in Teaneck, New Jersey. He’s pretty much out of the card business. Even sold his own collection (a little too early).
It’s still a challenge but business is pretty good because of his willingness to shift his focus to different products.
