Several high-grade Topps sets and single cards are on the block as Heritage Auctions offers hundreds of lots from the Henri Nuber Set Registry Collection.
A long-time collector of PSA graded cards, Nuber has built numerous high-end post-War vintage sets that are now on the block.
A total of 675 lots are up for bid through Thursday, June 18 including set breaks of the “All-Time Finest” 1964 Topps baseball set and the fourth ranked “Current Finest” 1963 set on PSA’s Registry.
Other sets up for bid include a 1958 Topps set (494) including the emblem cards and variations and sets of 1960 Topps (572) and a 1961 Topps (587) which currently leads bidding at $55,000. All three are among the top “Current Finest” sets of their kind on the PSA Registry.
Single cards up for grabs include one of only three 1964 Topps Carl Yastrzemski cards graded PSA 10; one of only four PSA 10 1964 Topps Sandy Koufax cards and a 1964 Topps Mickey Mantle #50 PSA Mint 9 (only one higher). Other top cards up for bid include a PSA 9 1963 Topps Willie Mays #300 (only one higher), a 1963 Topps Pete Rose rookie card #537 graded PSA 8 and a 1963 Topps World Series Game 7 “Yanks Celebrate” #148 graded PSA 9 (none higher).
Normal bidding closes and extended bidding begins at 10:00 PM Central Time on June 18 on the Heritage website.
