Long before NHL 21, NHL 2K..heck, even before Hat Trick, the best hockey game around was played with levers controlling plastic players and a puck with a steel ball in the middle of it. If you remember “bubble hockey” or still love to play Wayne Gretzky tabletop hockey, you’ll probably enjoy—or at least appreciate—a new series of bobbleheads.
FOCO has released a series of “Bubble Hockey” figures featuring some of the league’s top stars you can move by turning one of those old school-style levers.

It’s a 21st century product with a foot firmly planted in the 1970s and 80s.
The six-player series includes Alex Ovechkin, Connor McDavid, Tyler Seguin, Nikita Kucherov, Brad Marchand and Mathew Barzal.
Measuring about 8x10x5, each is hand painted and individually numbered to 360.
The bubble bobbles portray players in action poses on a rink with a backdrop that includes a team logo. To complete the feel of the old arcade game, there’s a “play” button, a coin slot and a Super Bubble Hockey display “for some old school goodness,” according to FOCO, which has a long history of providing some creative bobbleheads and other sports figures.
Each bobblehead is priced at $60. With only 360 of each player being created, FOCO is limiting customers to four per person with an expected delivery date of June.
And yes, they’re still making bubble hockey games.
