Topps’ latest online exclusive baseball set meshes some post-War greats with current stars. While the product was released Tuesday afternoon, 2022 Dynamic Duals didn’t even last through the evening hours.
Each pack includes a complete, 30-card base set along with a couple of parallels and inserts and a dual sticker autograph card. There were three insert sets in all.
Packs were priced at $149.99 and sold out quickly after going live on the company’s website. You can see what you missed, including the autograph checklist here.
Bidding for five of the top cards in the estate collection of 1933 and 1934 Goudeys owned by the late Manny Gordon is at over $1.8 million.
An avid fan of high-grade vintage cards, Gordon died of COVID in April 2020. Gordon’s remarkable collection of high-grade Goudeys are being offered by Memory Lane in an auction that runs through May 21.
His PSA 8 1933 Ruth (#53) already has a high bid of $510,000.

They’ve become a familiar name to avid card collectors but “most sports fans are only vaguely familiar with Fanatics,” according to a story in the New York Post, which quotes the company’s newest board member.
Jonathan Mildenhall has been given the task of developing a brand identity for Fanatics, the massive online retailer that bought Topps earlier this year and will take over most other sports trading card licenses in the next few years.
Mildenhall has been the chief marketing officer at Airbnb and has also worked for Coca-Cola.

Jerseys worn by the Warriors in their first round NBA Playoff series against the Denver Nuggets are on the auction block, including the one donned by new Golden State star Jordan Poole in his postseason debut.
NBA Auctions is offering the jerseys worn during their 123-107 Western Conference First Round, Game 1 victory over the Denver Nuggets on April 16. Poole scored a game-high 30 points that night, becoming the third player in franchise history to score 30 or more in a postseason debut.
Jerseys from Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are also among those up for grabs in an auction that runs through May 26.
