A Tom Brady rookie card owned by…Tom Brady…will be part of the first live auction collaboration between Sotheby’s and Fanatics Collect announced last month.
As we reported then, it’ll be a live event held in New York on Sept. 24 with some sports celebrities making an appearance as (mostly) six-figure cards are offered.

Not every pair of game-worn Kobe Bryant shoes goes to auction.
A pair worn by the late superstar more than 20 years ago is at MeiGray Select.
The white Air Jordan 7 Retro shoes date to a Jan. 5, 2003 Lakers win over the Phoenix Suns in which Bryant scored 31 point with 12 rebounds and seven assists. They’ve been photomatched to that game and have been autographed in black marker.
They’re priced at $225,000.
Bryant averaged 30 points per game for the first time in the 2002-03 season.
