A man wanted by police for stealing about $13,000 worth of merchandise from a Pennsylvania hobby shop was chased down by the state police Monday.
West York Borough Police say 39-year-old Jonathan Thomas Eisenhuth of Middleburg, was pulled over on a traffic stop and then tried to run from the scene but was taken into custody after a foot pursuit.
He’s been charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief in connection with a burglary at Common Ground Collections. Police say he broke into the store while wearing a mask and took “numerous high dollar collectible items.”
Investigators began focusing on individuals who are familiar with the sports card market from across the Mid-Atlantic region. That search led them to Eisenhuth and an arrest warrant was issued.
West York Borough Police say he will eventually be extradited to York County to face charges.

Among the items sold in Tuesday’s All-Star Auction in Seattle was a 1951 Chisholm, MN school yearbook.
So what?
It was signed on the inside by one Archibald Graham, MD. As in, Archie “Moonlight” Graham.
Yes, the basis of the movie Field of Dreams is real, even if the story is fantasy. Moonlight Graham played in one game for the 1905 New York Giants—as a defensive replacement who never got an at-bat.
Burt Lancaster portrayed Graham in the blockbuster movie starring Kevin Costner. The film was based on a book by WP Kinsella and helped make Graham a star with autograph collectors.
The good doctor was apparently just as nice of a man as he was portrayed and a favorite of the folks where he set up his practice in Chisholm, MN. He was the school’s doctor and one student had him sign her yearbook.
That book fetched over $8,000 in the auction after being consigned by the family of the original owner.

The Detroit Pistons have turned over the remainder of their 2022-23 game-worn jerseys and MeiGray now has a full complement of shirts worn during this past season—hundreds of them.
The NBA’s game-worn partner keeps a large supply of jerseys offered for straight sale in addition to those sold on the NBA’s auction marketplace. Not every superstar jersey goes to auction, though. Jerseys worn in specific games by LeBron James, Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic are among those up for sale. Others from players who aren’t on the all-star level can be had for much less.
Jerseys and warmups from previous seasons are also among those listed in the company’s NBA inventory.
