Police are investigating another major burglary at a sports card shop.
At least two people used a stolen truck and a rope or chain to tear off the front doors and windows of a hobby shop in Reno, NV early Sunday. The owner of Home Team Sports Collectibles says about $50,000 in merchandise was stolen by the two people who got inside.

The store remained closed as of Wednesday as cleanup continued and structural issues with the building were addressed.
The store owner says after identifying the vehicle, a 2003 GMC Savana van, from surveillance footage, he got in touch with the business owner who confirmed it had been stolen about 18 hours before the burglary.
Security images show two people inside the shop. They left before police arrived.
Hobby boxes and numerous single cards were taken including a 1/1 Shohei Ohtani autograph, a BGS 9.5 Mike Trout 2011 Topps Update rookie card, a Freddie Freeman bat barrel 1/1, a Trout booklet card, a Joe Burrow Panini Honors autograph #7/10 and a Wander Franco Bowman’s Best Lava Refractor (#31/75).

The top card from 2021 Panini Prizm football was pulled on the day of release. The 1/1 Mac Jones Black Finite rookie wound up in the hands of a 13-year-old from Ohio, who had purchased hobby boxes from his local card shop.
Johnny Stone and his father, who run a card business out of their home, quickly sold it for $100,000.
The Akron Beacon-Journal talked to the family about their big pull and where the card is now.

It’s not often that two Steph Curry game jerseys are up for auction at the same time.
The white Warriors shirt he donned in the first half of Game 1 of the Finals is already up for grabs through NBA Auctions. Curry’s six 3-point baskets in the opening 12 minutes against the Boston Celtics were the most ever in any quarter in Finals history.
Also offered the first of the new Classic Edition jerseys the Warriors wore this season. Curry’s shirt is from the October 21 win over the Clippers in which he scored 45 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Bidding on both jerseys has already surpassed $45,000 and is expected to go much higher when the auctions conclude later this month.
