PSA customers have sold over 52,000 cards in less than two months through the company’s new eBay partnership.
PSA acquired eBay’s vault in April and two months later rolled out the option for clients to list their graded sports and non-sports cards for sale through PSA’s new eBay store.
Cards can be listed for seven-day auction only but users can pick the day they want their auction to begin. PSA handles payments and shipping. The cost for using PSA’s vault to sell on eBay ranges from 7% to 16% of the selling price. Cards that sell for $1,000 and up get the best rates.
On Saturday, a 2002-03 Upper Deck SPx Kobe Bryant autographed Flashback Fabrics 1/1 card graded by Beckett sold for $24,584–the highest price for a card sold on the consignment platform to date.
Customers currently have over 13,000 cards listed for auction through PSA’s eBay listing pages.
