An auction of 82 of the trophies and other memorabilia of bankrupt tennis legend Boris Becker has sold for about $860,000.
Becker, now 51, won six Grand Slam titles in his career. He was declared bankrupt two years ago and the money will help pay off some of his creditors.
The auction took place in London and many of the bidders were those who were attending the tournament at Wimbledon. Some of Becker’s biggest trophies are missing, according to coverage in Europe.

About three dozen shirts and jackets used in pre-game drills are on the block, but photo matching has been tough because of a lack of available photos so they’re calling many “game issued.”
