The summer edition of the annual trio of three-day shows in Tennessee returns this weekend. The Nashville Sports Card Show is set for Friday-Sunday at the Nashville Fairgrounds.
Promoter Jeff Roberts says over 300 vendors will be set up, occupying over 600 tables.
SGC and Beckett will be taking submissions all weekend.
Buffalo Bills players Dawson Knox and Lee Smith, both Tennessee natives, will sign autographs on Saturday with proceeds going to a scholarship program.
Show hours are 12-7 Friday; 9-6 Saturday and 10-3 on Sunday. There’s a trade night planned as well.

With thousands of visitors set to descend on Seattle for the MLB All-Star festivities, Don Joss of DJ’s Sportscards is expecting an uptick in traffic to his popular shop in Renton, WA.

eBay will hold the second installment of its trading card “camp” in conjunction with the game in Seattle. The event takes place July 11 and 12.
Mariners Hall of Famer Felix Hernandez will be on hand as eBay sellers offer tips and drills to collectors hoping to build their collections.
The event is free to attend. It’ll be held at the Mariners Training Center.
All participants receive gift cards with those who do well in the camp receiving additional prizes.
The inaugural event was held in Brooklyn last month and more are in the works.

Here’s something you don’t see very often. A 1920 high school football program from a Thanksgiving Day game in New York. Among the players…Lou Gehrig.
A check of the team picture shows the Iron Horse was a big guy even then. He also played a little football at Columbia later on.
The four-page program is up for auction here with bidding set to close Wednesday.
