Topps NOW sold 588,030 copies of the Steph Curry/LeBron James/Kevin Durant Team USA gold medal winning basketball card before sales closed earlier this week. Yes, you read that right. More than a half million cards generating seven figures in revenue.
It’s the highest print run of any card in Topps NOW history.
Sales were undoubtedly pushed by extensive publicity behind what amounted to a lottery–the chance to win a 1/1 triple autographed card of the three players that Topps will stick in someone’s order for the $12 version (you can still buy them on eBay for around $8 courtesy of dealers who bought in quantity at a lower price).
Goldin is offering a $150,000 bounty on the card plus whatever proceeds would come from selling it on their auction platform.
Topps also sold 88,735 copies of the Steph Curry NOW card from Team USA’s semi-final victory over Serbia last week.
Curry scored 36 points in the win. Randomly inserted autographs are possible there as well.

A new record price for a Patrick Mahomes card.
Per Card Ladder, an unnumbered 2017 Panini Contenders Rookie Ticket Autograph PSA 10 set a new all-time high when it sold on eBay this week for nearly $22,000.
That topped the previous record of $17,400 set in the wake of the Chiefs’ last Super Bowl title last February.
The card has a population of 45 in PSA 10 holders. A few others are listed on eBay.
