With a pedigree dating back 60 years, the Long Beach Expo makes its return next weekend.
Rooted in coin collecting in the 1960s, the Southern California show eventually expanded into sports cards and memorabilia and other collectibles.
The 2024 show takes place from Thursday Feb. 1 through Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Long Beach Convention Center. Collectors attend from all over the world.
“We are proud the Long Beach Expo is marking 60 years,” says Professional Coin Grading Service President Stephanie Sabin. “Over the decades the show has seen many changes, but the one thing that has remained constant over all that time is the focus the expo has on celebrating collectibles. Coins, stamps, banknotes, sports memorabilia, bullion – you name it. This show has it.”
While hundreds of booths will offer buy, sell and trade opportunities, the show offers more than just a market. Meet the Expert sessions offer collectors the chance to have their collectibles questions answered. Dan Wulkan of Memory Lane will represent the sports segment.
PSA will be accepting onsite submissions of cards, autographed sports memorabilia, and other items.
There will be a Kids Treasure Hunt, offering trivia. Other giveaways will take place via drawings each day of the show.

Fanatics Live, the break app launched by the company last year, is rolling out an ongoing ‘most wanted’ list of ten cards. If a collector pulls one of the rare cards in a break on the app, Fanatics says it’ll give them a $10,000 credit to use and they get to keep the card.
Among the first top 10 cards to be featured: the 2023 Bowman Draft LeBron James/Bronny James 1/1 dual-autograph, the 2023 MLB Debut Patch Anthony Volpe 1/1, the Prizm Black Finite Anthony Richardson 1/1 and the 12/50 inscribed Tom Brady card from 2023 Bowman Draft Baseball.
