The New Orleans firm that filed paperwork for a class action lawsuit against Panini America over redemption cards a couple of weeks ago has written a blog post about the case and says it is seeking input from collectors.
Martzell, Bickford and Centola is a New Orleans based firm whose name is on the documents filed in federal court on behalf of collector Kevin Brashear. However, they say it was another attorney asked for their help.
It seems Michael Roche, described in the blog post as a “collector and dealer” also based in New Orleans, is serving as the point man. Roche and attorney Lawrence Centola traveled to Dallas to meet with Brashear and gather information from a local card shop, then decided to file, claiming violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Roche is seeking input from collectors who have had issues with trading card company redemptions and lists his contact information in the post.

He wasn’t even on the radar of most college programs a couple of years ago, but now Ja Morant is looking like a high lottery pick in this summer’s NBA Draft.
The Murray State sophomore’s spectacular dunks have been a fixture on highlight shows and social media but he’s more than just an entertaining high flyer. His all-around game, dedication and unpretentious nature are what scouts love. As a mid-major school, a player like Morant is a godsend, but even on a smaller stage, that future projection has autograph hounds seeking him out.
It’s his star potential and demand for autographs that has put the school in a tough spot, though. They’ve had to hire security to keep away people who are hounding him for multiple autographs and then trying to turn them into cash on eBay.
