Lelands has opened its first “Pop-Up” auction of 2023. The smaller auctions contain a few hundred lots, mostly consisting of lower valued items, but also including some key rookie cards.
Lelands launches a pop-up auction whenever the firm accumulates enough material to match the format. The items were held out of Lelands main auction – the Classic, because on their own the lots didn’t carry a high enough value, and the company didn’t have any other similar items to group together to make a new lot worthy of their high-end Classic Auction.
Among the top items in the current auction are a 2020 Panini Immaculate Joe Burrow Rookie Patch Autograph (BGS 9/10), autographed rookie cards from Justin Herbert and Jalen Hurts, a 2017 Patrick Mahomes Contenders Rookie Auto (PSA 9), a 2005-06 Upper Deck Sidney Crosby rookie autograph (# to 999), a PSA 10 2003-04 Topps Finest LeBron James rookie (# to 999), an opened 1984-85 Chicago Bulls Star Company team set with Michael Jordan, a 1917 White Sox season pass signed by Charles Comiskey, a game-worn Joel Embiid jersey, several Hartford Whalers jerseys, NFL game-worn jerseys and both graded and ungraded vintage cards.
Lelands Winter Pop-Up Auction runs through Jan. 22.

Collectable has announced the impending launch of a new, two-round, sealed, competitive bidding process the company says is “designed to increase price discovery and liquidity of iconic collectible assets, and to create additional shareholder opportunities for Collectable’s fractional ownership exchange.”
Frequently utilized in the public financial markets, the Bids Wanted in Competition process transacts billions of dollars of esoteric and illiquid securities each year. Collectable’s version of BWIC will be tweaked and tailored to investment grade collectibles across various categories.
A 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle graded SGC 10 will be among the first items to be offered.
The first BWIC is slated to open at the end of January.
