A massive collection of baseball memorabilia from Foley’s, a legendary sports pub in New York is about to go up for sale.
The place closed a couple of years ago during the height of COVID and all of the memorabilia went into storage.
Now, owner Sean Clancy has worked out a deal with Duck’s Dugout, a large hobby shop in Marietta,
GA, to sell it all.
There are thousands of autographed baseballs, many from the players, managers, coaches, umpires and other celebrities who made a point to come to Foley’s. Game-used items, signs and other memorabilia will be up for sale.

Fanatics has launched Part 2 of its “Star Power Auction.” About 150 items went on the block Wednesday, including autographs, game-used items and cards.
The auction, which runs through August 31 includes game-used cleats from Aaron Judge, Pete Alonso, CC Sabathia, Gleyber Torres, Kike Hernandez (2020 World Series), Anthony Rizzo and others. Game jerseys from Trae Young and Donovan Mitchell, Giancarlo Stanton’s 2019 ALCS cap and a pair of Mike Tyson’s workout trunks are among the game-used items.
There are dozens of autographed items from major stars including a Peyton Manning autographed and inscribed Super Bowl XLI ticket.
Other signed memorabilia comes from Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry Rice, Tiger Woods, Bobby Orr, Barry Sanders, Julius Erving and Larry Bird, among others.
A game-used 1984 Team USA warmup jacket from Chris Mullin is also among the top items in the auction, which runs through August 31.
