Vintage card specialist and longtime hobby fixture Joe Tomasulo is joining Goldin. Tomasulo has spent the past nine years at Memory Lane Auctions where he worked with consignors to offer some the rarest and most significant vintage cards and memorabilia ever to go to auction.
A lifelong collector, Tomasulo began his career in cards after a successful 25-year stint at MetLife as a financial controller. Prior to joining Memory Lane, Tomasulo was a writer and consignment director for Goodwin & Co.
“Joe is universally known in The Hobby as one of the ‘go-tos’ on vintage. As an avid vintage collector, I could not be more excited for him to join our team and help us grow this area of the business,” remarked Ken Goldin, Founder and CEO of Goldin. “Vintage has consistently remained a strong point in the industry and we expect that to continue to be the case. We’re planning to empower Joe to utilize his vast vintage memorabilia knowledge to find the items that convey some of our history’s and sport’s most iconic, memorable moments.”
“The thriving vintage collectibles market owes its success not just to the scarcity of these remarkable items, but also because of the historical significance that each item has endured for years,” Tomasulo added.
